How we met

It all started in 2013, on a sunny Sunday afternoon on my way home from church somewhere in Surulere Lagos, Nigeria,. This handsome guy pulled over beside me and offered me a lift, but I was a bit hesitant and felt I didn’t need his ride. But checking my wallet, I realized that I had given the last cash in my wallet to a beggar, so I had no transport fare anymore and there was no ATM around, so I decided to give him audience in order for him to drop me off at the closest bus-stop to my house. In our conservation in the car, he asked me why I was still single. Then I asked him, “is it by force to be in a relationship?” He laughed and responded “No… but you are a lovely, mature and elegant lady, I would not think you were single.” I responded, “ooo… okay…  thanks” lol.
After that day, we exchanged numbers and kept in touch as friends. One day he invited me for a dinner and the rest is history.
